This course from Retirement Design Lab will challenge you to think about your retirement differently while dealing with the risks that may threaten your ideal retirement head on. Our three-part event takes you on an educational journey spanning visualizing your reitrement to thinking through practical next steps. 

Part I - The Foundation

• Visualizing Retirement - Defining your ideal retirement & finding purpose
• Navigating Change - Understanding how retirement planning has evolved
• Getting the questions on the table - When can I retire? Will I run out of money? What if ___?
• The Basics & Risk Awareness - Retirement needs vs. wants - understanding ALL the risks

Part II - From Theory to Practice

• The Tools and the Rules - Understanding your financial accounts & reducing taxes and managing stock market risks
• Planning Your Retirement Income - Maximizing retirement income to make it predictable and understanding guaranteed/non-guaranteed options
• Addressing Retirement Risks - Stock market volatility, rising health care costs, long-term care planning, beneficiary decisions

Part III - Office Hours

• At the conclusion of the in-person classroom sessions, part III of this course will provide you the opportunity to discuss your individual questions. We know you’ll have questions as a result of your attendance and want to give them the individual attention that they deserve.
